What Am I Up To?
For someone struggling to find her bearing in this world, I think I do a fine job at masking it. So, for the bold step I am about taking; to unmask and unravel why my aunt pulled ‘a- few- hours-old-me’ out of the cot just before it was violently pushed down; I want you to ride with me. May be I will get it figured out at the end? or I won’t but I will have an existential ride! You in?
My name is Dumebi ( Pronounced: doo-may-be) and I love pictures as much as I love food, but you will find out that’s not all I am about. I have an interest in Medicine and Tech- both worlds I plan to bring tad closer in my own way. I should warn you that you could lose me in the world of Art- I draw really well for someone who is too lazy to harness that skill- I love art. I like to also call myself a word-weaver, you won’t be surprised that for a person whose dominant personality is an introverted one, I am well spoken with a pen and paper ( or rather- a screen and keyboard).
Here, I will have several pieces written on medicine and lifestyle, my journey to becoming a Las-Gidi (Think big, DEE- a Silicon Valley) tech sis, art, my creative tales, the books I devour, the cities I see, food and my discovery of Abba’s Love. Though, the list ain’t exhaustive, take to heart that your girl will have a lot to write about as I navigate my way in this lost city.
